Worker Falls Off Maryland Roof, Dies

NEW CARROLLTON, Md. - New Carrollton Police say a construction worker was killed when he fell off of a roof on Friday afternoon.
It happened on Chestnut Avenue in New Carrollton. Prince George's County Fire officials say someone who was working on the roof fell off and died. No other details were immediately available.
Another person was being treated at the scene of the fall, but there's no word yet on who that person is or what their injuries are.
