Second Arrest in Wheaton Man's Murder

Montgomery County police have charged a second person with first-degree murder in the killing of a man whose body was found in the road in Wheaton.

Twenty-two-year-old Maria Blanco of Wheaton was arrested Thursday. She is being held without bond.

Blanco and 19-year-old Moises Rodriguez of Wheaton were charged in the death of 34-year-old Samuel Dejesus Chacon of New Carrollton.

Officials say a woman driving in the Wheaton-Glenmont area spotted Chacon's body just after midnight Tuesday in the 2500 block of Newton Street.

Police say Chacon and Blanco had visitation issued over their 6-year-old child. Officers say Rodriguez and Blanco came up with a plan to lure Chacon to their home and stab him to death.
