FORT WASHINGTON, Md. - Prince George's County police say a man attempted to rob a secretary at an elementary school in Fort Washington.
Police say the incident happened about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Foote Elementary School in the 8300 block of Oxon Hill Road.
A county schools spokesman says the man walked into the school and demanded cash from a secretary who was sitting near the door.
He says the man left without taking anything.
Police say no injuries were reported.
