Sean Green was shot in the head multiple times while seated in his car, stopped at a traffic light along busy Saint Barnabas Road on the afternoon of November 12, 2008. He died the next morning.
One year later, Green's family is puzzled by the fact the case remains unsolved. And they're frustrated by what they say is a lack of communication from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Prince George's County Police told FOX 5 News Thursday they would have to get back to us regarding any information about the case. No suspect has been identified, arrested or charged in Green's murder.
Police have said the 31-year-old computer specialist with a top secret security clearance was shot at nine or 10 times. The gunman had walked up to Green's car, fired his weapon and walked away.
Green's was one of at least five cars stopped at the light on Virginia Lane. Nobody apparently saw a thing.
Green's mother, brother and sister spoke to Fox 5 News on the one year anniversary of the shooting. See parts of their interviews in my story that aired on the FOX 5 News at 10 on Thursday night. Just click on the video above.
