Another drug maker is coming under fire.
Dozens of D.C. women have joined the nationwide lawsuit against the maker of Yaz, the popular birth control pill. The women allege that they have suffered severe side effects including blood clots and organ failure after taking the contraceptive.
One local woman, Jessica Dumas Vargas, shared her near-death experience with Fox 5.
