NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Construction begins next week on a new Army training building at Fort Eustis.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the $13.6 million Army Training Support Center headquarters is scheduled for Tuesday. The building should be complete by next March.

The 56,700-square-foot building will include administrative space, special work areas, classrooms, conference rooms, and video and telecommunication spaces. It brings Army Training Support Center employees together on a site where 17 World War II-era wooden buildings previously stood.
