Fairfax Co., Va. - For Nathan Pacheco, the dream began in his parent’s living room in Fairfax County.

His piano teacher mom made him practice. As he told us, "She's tough. Don't mess with her."

He has come a long way and Tuesday night at the British Embassy in D.C., he performed for Prince Charles.

Was it a little nerve-wracking to sing for royalty? Pacheco says 'yes'.

"I always get butterflies whenever I sing, but it's that adrenaline that you always feed off of when you're a performer. There was such a neat feeling in the room and we just kind of rode that wave of emotion and let it carry us the rest of the way," says Pacheco.

He is 31-years old now, but this began way back when we was just two-years-old.

"When we would go to Magruder's grocery store, cause we were living in Vienna then, and all the cashiers would say here comes the singing baby!," says his Mom.

That two-year-old grew and graduated from Oakton High School. After college, he toured with Yanni and now has a recording deal with Disney.

His music: "it is it's kind of like Andrea Boccelli or Josh Groban. It's a crossover between opera and pop."

His advice to young performers: follow your dreams. He's living his.
