LOUDOUN Co., Va. - Parents in one Sterling community took their kids trick or treating...even though the neighborhood is on edge. Loudoun County investigators say early Friday morning...two men posing as cops...broke into a home on East Lee Road and carried out a robbery.

The homeowner tells FOX 5 the men kicked in his back door and announced they were cops. They were dressed all in black and wearing ski masks. He says the robbers held a gun to his head and demanded money.

They eventually left with a small safe after he couldn't open it.

The homeowner and his wife were tied up...but not injured....Their 5 year old son slept through it all.

Police are asking for the public's help in the case. Investigators don't have much to go on. There is a one thousand dollar reward in the case.
