Arlington Police are asking the public to take a good look at newly-released surveillance footage of a shooting at an Apple Store in Clarendon on Friday.
They want help identifying the man believed to be the gunman who opened fire in the back room of the store on Clarendon Boulevard, leaving a 26-year-old female employee in serious but stable condition.
Investigators say the man walked down a service hallway to the store's rear delivery door and rang the bell. He then shot the employee who opened the door and took off running.
Police say the worker did not recognize the man, and they aren't sure of the motive.
Officers spent hours questioning witnesses and looking for clues. So far, there has been no sign of the mysterious shooter.
Police say the victim is expected to survive her injuries.
