Chances are if your phone rang this Thanksgiving, it was a text message and not a phone call.
The old-fashioned, handwritten cards have largely gone away. Apparently, more and more of us are using high-tech tools to convey our holiday greetings.
Facebook, twitter, texts and e-mails went flying this Turkey Day. Folks we talked to didn't seem to mind the less-than-personal nature of the holiday wishes.
In our busy, fast-paced, technology-centered culture, they say it's the way we stay connected.
