Last month photographers caught California first lady Maria Shriver breaking a state law that requires drivers to use hands-free devices when talking on cell phones. Now it seems like she's been busted again.
TMZ.com reports that on Tuesday, Shriver was returning to her car after visiting Peet's Coffee in Santa Monica, Calif., when a parking enforcement officer noticed her meter had expired. The officer prepared to write a ticket, but one of Shriver's security details, who happens to be from the CHP's Dignitary Protection Unit, spoke to the officer and talked him out of issuing the ticket (watch the video) .
TMZ writes that Shriver then drove off in her SUV without putting her seatbelt on.
Last month Shriver was seen talking on her cell phone while driving. She apologized for her action , but she wasn't the only one in her family saying sorry recently. TMZ also caught Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger getting into his car that was parked in the red zone in Beverly Hills. The city typically issues a $90 ticket to red-zone violators. Schwarzenegger said on Tuesday, "No one is perfect. Not even me."
