WASHINGTON - Police say a 19-year-old male entered and collapsed at the Kennedy Recreation Center in Northwest D.C. suffering from stab wounds at around 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
The recreation center is located at 1401 7th Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is described as being in life-threatening condition.
Police are going under the assumption that the stabbing occurred somewhere in a three to four block radius of the area near the recreation center.
Two vehicles were towed away parked in front of a dollar store on 7th Street. It is unknown who the vehicles belong to and what role they may have played in the stabbing.
