WASHINGTON - This week is National Volunteer Week. A competition has been underway nationwide to celebrate the top volunteers in communities across the country.
Here in the District two young men were recently selected among 29 thousand people to receive this year's Prudential Spirit of Community Awards - the nation's largest national program honoring middle and high school students for their outstanding acts of volunteerism.
The winners, Kevin Iraheta and Chaquan Barbett, joined FOX 5 to explain their awards.
