WASHINGTON - Mary and John Paul used to be in the choir when they were younger. Now they chaperones giving back by taking care of children.

In case you are unfamiliar with these ambassadors of peace and joy, here is a bit of background: aged 7-11, they traveled the world to perform, educate and inspire. These are children from the poorest countries on the planet but whose rich voices have been heard by international leaders and top performers across the world.

Raising a large sum of money, these present little ones whom have triumphed past unfortunate circumstances educate and rebuild countries destroyed by famine, war and aids. Its sponsor, Music for Life, the African children's choir is able to educate 6,500 children in seven African nations and various other countries.

On the official first day of fall at 7:15 pm at The Grace Covenant Church 4600 Brookfield Corporate Drive Chantilly, Virginia this African Children’s Choir will present their message of freedom and hope through their performance.
