Holly Live: BBQ Class for Father's Day

The Fathers Day Grilling Class will be held at Acadiana Restaurant (901 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC) on Saturday, June 20th from 1-3 p.m. on the patio.

The cost is $75 per person - great gift for Dads. The Fathers Day Grilling Class is a great day out for fathers and sons (and father and daughters too).

It is a two-hour barbecue class, beginners and life-long enthusiasts are welcome.

Participants will learn how to prep and grill a three-course feast (with all the fixings), and then the class will enjoy the meal together.

The menu: Grilled Caesar Salad, Cowboy Steak and Barbecued Pork Ribs, grilled corn and mushrooms, Chimichurri Sauce, and Grilled Peach Melba with unlimited Abita draft beer and root beer.

All guests will be given a jar of house-made barbecue sauce, a recipe book and other goodies.

All summer long, Acadiana is hosting crawfish boils on the patio, Thursdays and Fridays (4-6:30p.m.) A pound of boiled crawfish is $13; boiled shrimp is $17/pound. A bucket of Abita beers is $12.
