BALTIMORE (AP) - The NAACP says it will hold its 2016 national convention in Baltimore. At a meeting in Las Vegas this week, the national board selected Baltimore as the site. The organization has been headquartered in Baltimore since 1986.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - The U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis has new leader. Vice Adm. Walter Carter has been chosen superintendent following a change-of-command ceremony. Carter was recently president of the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He graduated from the academy in 1981.

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Two men have been arrested after they allegedly arranged to meet children for sex in separate incidents in Dover. Prosecutors say Steve A. Moore of Dagsboro and Mark Cavill of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, communicated online with law enforcers posing as underage teen girls.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - The inaugural International Crown is unique for what it isn't. Thirty-two elite players from eight countries will compete at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills to determine which nation has the best female players in the world. It's not about individual play. The U.S. is the top seed.
