ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - An economist predicts Maryland's minimum wage four years from now will be worth about $9.25 in today's dollars. A bill awaiting Gov. O'Malley's signature raises the wage to $10.10 an hour by July 2018. David Cooper based his estimate on the federal government's inflation estimates.

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - A Montgomery County judge has dismissed a couple's lawsuit against a top private school. Robert and Valerie Bramson had accused the Bullis School in Potomac of jeopardizing their son's college career by not doing enough to help him. The judge says the Bramsons didn't identify where the school breached its contract.

DOVER, Del. (AP) - A lobbyist who once worked for Sen. Tom Carper is being sued for breach of contract. At issue is a fight over the awarding of a license to operate Delaware first medical marijuana dispensary. Former Lewes city councilman A. Judson Bennett claims Mark Lally began working with a New England group that also is trying to land the contract.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says the Navy football team had to overcome tough opponents and a government shutdown to win the Commander-in-Chief trophy this year. The military service academies had to suspend some sporting events last fall amid budget fights in Washington.
